While rhinoplasty is generally very safe in the hands of an experienced, board-certified surgeon, all surgeries carry some risks. Potential complications may include bleeding, infection, difficulty breathing, unfavorable scarring, or asymmetry. In rare cases, additional revision surgery may be necessary to refine results.
